I love learning, and I believe learning is a lifelong pursuit. I enjoy sharing what I know with others as a tutor. Academically, I have degrees in criminal justice, psychology, and English. I also love learning about animals. I spent time studying animal behavior, and I was able to work with chimpanzees on sign language and research dolphins in Turkey. This experience showed me that if you pursue your interests, they can take you anywhere. I also believe in the power of hard work, and I instill that in my students to help them achieve success. I can tutor algebra, geometry, biology, English, writing, psychology, essays, science, physical science, study skills and organization, ecology, life sciences, and test preparation for the ACT, PSAT, SAT, and others. When I have free time, I like to go to music and art festivals, travel, and kayak.
