I am enrolled at the University of Central Florida, where I am an undergraduate working towards a degree in computer engineering. As a student and a tutor, I specialize in math. In high school, I was on Mu Alpha Theta. We placed several times. I enjoy helping students that are struggling in their math courses, whether they are learning algebra or calculus 2. I have developed a solid understanding of math from a young age. As a tutor, I enjoy taking complicated concepts and breaking them down into building blocks that are easier to grasp. From there, the student and I work together to enhance upon that concept to come to a more advanced understanding. Since every student learns differently, I have a flexible teaching style that is easily adjustable to better suit the student's needs. I provide each student with various methods that can be used to solve a problem, helping them work through various concepts. I strive to help students build confidence in their math skills while pushing them to succeed. I also offer test prep to those gearing up for SATs, PSAT, and other standardized exams. I enjoy playing video games on the PC and going to the gym.
